We’ll meet in chic Marin County, and start our self-drive odyssey up the Pacific Coast, through Sonoma, Mendocino, Humboldt and Del Norte counties, into Oregon up to Newport. Our eight days will flow through quiet villages, and we’ll explore headlands, beaches, tidepools, sea arches, blow-holes and lighthouses. Plus, we’ll cruise slowly by car and on foot through redwood groves, Fern Canyon and other truly idyllic seascapes and cool soaring forests. Eight days will drift by, and you can drive home any way you like. They’re all scenic paths from here.
